Hi, I’m Shelby—the heart behind Be Nurtured.
Be Nurtured was born out of love, necessity, and a deep desire to provide something truly pure and nourishing for my daughter, Harper. She has incredibly sensitive skin, and as a mom (mum), I wanted nothing but the best for her. I searched tirelessly for a skincare product that was gentle, effective, and completely natural—free from toxins, synthetic fragrances, and questionable additives. But, time and time again, I came up empty-handed looking for the next solution.
So, I decided to create my own.
What started as a simple effort to help my daughter quickly became something much more. In the midst of the beautiful chaos of toddlerhood—where sleep was VERY scarce, and life often felt out of my control—I found unexpected solace in the ritual of making tallow. Melting, infusing, and blending became my therapy; my quiet escape. Amidst the exhaustion and the ever-changing needs of a tiny human, this was something I could control. It became my zen space, my happy place—a way to pour love and intention into something tangible.
As I watched Harper’s skin transform with the tallow I had so carefully crafted, I knew I had created something special. And I couldn’t keep it to myself, and knew other mum’s would be searching for the same solutions I was. 
Be Nurtured Tallow is more than skincare. It’s a reflection of everything I wanted as a mother—holistic, simple, and deeply nourishing. Each jar is made with the same care and intention as that very first batch, designed to support all skin types—from the tiniest hands to the grown-up ones.
